This is my startup which I made to bring coffee from my grandmas farm in Colombia all the way to Sweden to roast and sell at my father’s restaurant and cafés. I made a logo and a sticker for a mockup packaging. My grandma is called Ita ever since I was a child and couldn’t pronounce abuelita meaning: Little Grandma. I could only say the last part, Ita. From there on she has been Ita for my whole family. So it was only fitting to name the company after her since it’s her farm and coffee I’m importing.
The logotypes design spells out: Ita’s, but is actually based on hieroglyphs/script from the Native American tribes in Colombia. This is because my grandma Ita is a native american and I wanted something that said Ita’s but only if you knew to look for it.
Sadly when I was going to start all this covid happened and it made me stop trying to import the coffee here to Sweden so it actually isn’t here yet. But I’m determined to get it done as soon as I have the ability to do so.
